Admissions
Joining our school
Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision, and we understand that the admissions process can sometimes feel overwhelming. We aim to make it as clear and supportive as possible, whether you are applying for a Reception place, moving schools during the year or exploring support for additional needs.
We are proud to be a caring and inclusive school where children are encouraged to grow in confidence, curiosity and independence from the very start of their journey.
Applying for a Place
We offer 60 places in Reception each year.
Applications for Reception and in-year places are managed by Wandsworth Council.

Admissions Criteria
If there are more applications than places available, places are allocated according to the school's published admissions criteria.
This is a summary of the admissions criteria. Full details, including definitions, evidence requirements and how places are allocated when applications are oversubscribed, can be found in the admissions policy documents below.
Priority is given in the following order:
- Children who are looked after or previously looked after
- Children with exceptional medical or social need supported by professional evidence
- Children with a brother or sister already attending the school
- Children of staff employed by the school
- Distance from home to school, measured by Wandsworth Council
Applications made under medical or social grounds must be supported by relevant professional evidence submitted before the application deadline.

Admissions Criteria 2025–2026Admissions Criteria 2026–2027Children with Additional Needs
We believe every child should feel safe, included and able to thrive.
If your child has additional needs, you should still apply through the usual admissions process via Wandsworth Council.
Some children may have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). In these cases, admissions are managed through the child's EHCP case officer, who can formally consult with the school regarding a placement.
The Discovery Zone
The Discovery Zone is our specialist resource base for children with an EHCP and a diagnosis of autism.
The provision offers:
- Personalised learning and support
- Structured and nurturing environments
- Support with communication and social development
- Opportunities to build confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing
Admissions to the Discovery Zone are managed through the Wandsworth Special Needs Assessment Service (SNAS).

Waiting Lists
If a place is not available, your child can remain on the waiting list.
Waiting lists are ordered according to the published admissions criteria rather than the date of application. This means a child's position may change if new applications are received.
Reception and in-year waiting lists are normally held for one year.
Appeals
If your application is unsuccessful, you have the right to appeal to an independent appeals panel.
Information about how to appeal will be included with your offer letter.
