David is your Chair of Governors. He has been a parent governor for 7 years and has a child in Year 4 and two others that are now in Secondary School.

I became a governor in 2022 as I wanted to get more involved and give something back. This academic year I have taken over as Chair. Professionally I work as a financial planner with my own business locally in South Wimbledon.

Outside of work I enjoy watching most sports and am still active on the football pitch and tennis court. Additionally, I am an active member of St Nicholas Church.

I want to support Tooting Primary and the staff team in continuing to deliver the highest level of education for our children.

Nim is a community governor and former pupil of Franciscan Primary School.

I am committed to ensuring every child has access to a high-quality education and an environment that unlocks talent and aspirations of future generations.

My current role as the Head of Commercial Partnerships at British Gas means I have experience in commercial strategy, people leadership and a strong understanding of financial management.

I am keen to support TPS in creating a successful environment for both pupils and staff.

Chris is one of our parent governors and has two children at TPS.

He has a strong background in education, leadership and teaching innovation, and is currently Director of Drama and Dance at Surbiton High School.

I am passionate about supporting the school community and have a keen interest in its dynamic, varied, and exciting curriculum, which encourages curiosity and guarantees progression for every child.

Amber is our staff governor. She started at the school in September 2025 and currently teaches Year 3.

For the past six years, I have embraced opportunities within various schools to enhance my craft to deliver a high-quality education. My passion for education and interest in developing the school curriculum means I have been appointed Art Lead at Tooting Primary School.

I am thoroughly enjoying my role as co-lead for the Tooting Primary Parents Association, liaising with the proactive team to raise money for educational visits to enhance the children's cultural experiences.

I hope that including governor to my role can see me further support the school community.
