We believe that Science should encourage children to be curious about the world around them and develop an understanding of how and why things happen. Through practical experiences, investigation and discussion, pupils are encouraged to ask questions, make predictions, test ideas and use evidence to draw conclusions.
Our Science curriculum builds knowledge and scientific skills progressively, while giving children opportunities to explore living things, materials, forces, the Earth and space. We aim to develop confident young scientists who are curious, thoughtful and able to apply their understanding to the world around them.
